Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving the quality of education through the evaluation of educational programs. Program evaluation is a systematic process of assessing the success of a program by measuring its inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes to ensure the achievement of predefined educational goals. The study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques based on literature review to gain an in-depth understanding of program evaluation implementation by examining various documents, books, and journals. The types of evaluation discussed include formative evaluation, which focuses on feedback during program implementation, and summative evaluation, which assesses the overall program outcomes. Additionally, relevant evaluation models such as Goal-Based Evaluation, Responsive Evaluation, and CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) are elaborated to provide a systematic framework for the evaluation process. The findings indicate that educational quality is influenced by a relevant curriculum, educator competencies, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. The role of educational management is also critical in planning, managing, and evaluating programs to ensure the sustainability of quality improvement. By applying data-driven strategies, engaging stakeholders, and utilizing technology, educational program evaluation can serve as an effective tool for continuously enhancing learning quality. This study is expected to contribute to educational policy development and encourage the optimal implementation of evaluation in various contexts.
