STRATEGI PENERAPAN MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI SD/MI
Abstract
The success of learning can be assessed through the learning process experienced by students. The selection of the appropriate teaching model has a significant impact on this success. Based on the analysis of previous studies, many teachers still predominantly use conventional teaching methods. Therefore, choosing the group investigation model can serve as an alternative to achieve successful learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the strategy of applying the group investigation model in science (IPA) teaching at elementary schools (SD/MI). This research is a literature study aimed at identifying the strategy for implementing the Group Investigation model in science learning at elementary schools (SD/MI). The research procedure follows a qualitative approach with literature study techniques using sources such as magazines, books, documents, and others. The results show that the implementation of the Group Investigation model in science learning at SD/MI can be carried out through several steps: selecting topics, cooperative planning, implementation, analysis and synthesis, presenting final results, and evaluation. The Group Investigation model has proven to be effective for implementation in science learning at SD/MI as it enhances collaboration skills, concept understanding, and students' self-confidence.
